Camp 2 has almost no snow and spaces for 5 tents. Galu Sherpa, Shera Sherpa, Pasang Lama and Lakpa Sherpa are putting up tents tomorrow, for the first wave of climbers. Dan's Team returned from Camp One to Base Camp by lunchtime and spent the afternoon resting up for the coming summit climb. On the way down we met our team's four high-altitude Sherpas heading up to ABC. They were happy to share with us their secret weapon, "Nepali Tea" which tasted suspiciously like fermented rice "Chang" and was being shared from a big plastic bottle. They were especially lively during the nightly radio call! Jay's team returned to Camp 1 for a great feast of Dahl Bhat and baked beans which was a great welcome after a long day of climbing. Until we found out during the evening radio call that Dan's team were having Steaks at base camp and Pizza! To Ken, Sandy and Tracey: You are greatly missed.
