Speaking of which, our cooks, Kipa Sherpa and Jai Badur have been producing some exquisite cuisine - Jay's team of Kirsti Samson, Brain Rolfson and Ali Naderi enjoyed a welcome meal of pepper steaks, french fries and fresh baked cake for dinner. Certainly a welcome change from the very simple food at the higher camps. Jay's team stopped at Advanced Base camp on the way down to basecamp to disassemble it. Jay was very pleased to help out by eating the remaining buffalo meat in the kitchen. John Fawcett and Jocelyn Dufour are still in Camp 1 waiting for Dan's team to arrive tomorrow. Brian Rolfson twisted his ankle on the way from Camp 1 to Basecamp yesterday and is resting with lots of ice and TLC from all the members and staff here. He hopes to recover quickly and summit in a day or two. Tomorrow Jay's team will enjoy a much needed rest day in Basecamp.
