Ray Yeritsian: West Rib Denali Summit 2003

Overall the "West Rib Variation" is a beautiful route, with great views, some exposed sections, etc... a "small" slab avalanche carried me down for a few meters before I jumped out of it (right above the "Orient Express") plus the skin at the tip of my nose is unusually dark... other than that it was all fun :-)

Equipment used: Stubai Hornet Ice Tools, Marmot Parbat Down Parka ... 2 small chocolate bars, 1 liter of water... :-)
