Silvio Mondinelli Shishapangma 2003

Silvio Mondinelli: C2 installed.

Italian mountaineers are climbing Shishapangma: Silvio Mondinelli, Domenico Di Bartolomeo, Mario Merelli, Marco D’Ercole, Roberto Delle Monache, Antonio Acerbo and Alberto Magliano.

They have installed camp 2 at 6,800 meters. They have fresh snow covering the ground. After spending the night at camp 2, they awoke to find the wind blew with force. so they decided to come down to Base camp.
