Manaslu 2003 featuring Piotr Pustelnik

Manaslu, at 8163 meters, is the eighth highest
peak in the world. It is located in the
west-central part of Nepal.
Piotr Pustelnik has summited 11 of the
world's 14 highest peaks.
If he summits Manaslu, he will only have
Broad Peak and Annapurna left.

Manaslu Expedition - Manaslu summited!

Yesterday, on the 17th of May, 14.00 Nepal time
Piotr Pustelnik and Krzysztof Tarasewicz have
summited Manaslu. They started the summit push at
night from camp IV at 7400m. Dariusz Zaluski, Anna
Czerwinska and Barbara Drousek, climbing after
Piotr and Krzysztof, were forced to turn back due
to strong wind and bad weather conditions. Now
they are all back in camp IV.
