Dispatch 7: English: 25 March: Most members walked to abc, and returned to basecamp. Lakpa and Jangbu Sherpa and Dan slept there. 26 March: several members walked again to abc, and slept there. Our two kitchen staff, Pemba and Mingma begin preparing food and drinks for everyone in abc. Many members rested in abc. Lakpa , Jangbu sherpa and Dan fixed 350 meters up the east face of Pumori (normal route). 27 March: Bruce, Uli, Ryan, Clive, and Wolfgang climbed up and placed more fixed lines and almost reached camp 1. Several members slept in abc. 28 March: we finally reached camp 1, and several members climbed the fixed lines. 5 members who had been resting in basecamp went to sleep in abc.

Others returned to basecamp for a rest. 29 March: some members went to try and sleep in camp 1. others climbed the fixed lines, others are resting in basecamp. Everybody is doing great!!!!
