Belgian team climb Mt. Himlung

The six member team of the Belgian Himlung Expedition 2003 along with two Sherpa successfully climbed 7126 meter high Mt.  Himlung on November 22, 2003. Those who climbed Mt. Himlung are Mr. Day Aerts (29 yrs), Ms. Christel De Bie (32 yrs), Mr. Geert Stoffelen (41yrs), Mr. Johan Van Damme (43 yrs), Mr. Yannic Alley (37 yrs), Mr. Herman Herremans (50 yrs), Mr. Man Bahadur Tamang and Mr. Tshering Thandu Sherpa. 

The 12 member expedition was led by Mr. Kris Vanteenkiste who is an engineer by profession. The team was given a sixty day permit from November 4, 2003 to climb Mt. Himlung from normal route. Source Bikrum Pandey and the Ministry of Tourism. Bikrum's newest web site is here.
