16th: Martine
called earlier from Camp 3, she is very tired and in
great pain, this pain is caused by the fact that as
Martine and her Sherpa left Camp 4 during the night,
Martine developed a serious cough, by the time they
reached 8550 Meters (300 Meters from summit) her
Sherpa forced her to turn back due to the amount of
blood she was spitting. The Sherpa knew that Martine
could make it to summit but he was too worried that
she would not make it back down if not taking this
decision. She is now resting in Camp 3. Martine
made it to 8550 Meters!!!
