2001 Ararat Peace Climb

Update
from 7/27/2001: We wait.
Unlike
Everest, or K2, or any of the other mountains we
cover, there are no other teams to call on the North
side of Ararat. We must just wait
for the team to call in. While we wait, we ask you to
support this vision of peace, please make a donation, via

We
have some pictures of Babu's wife and children to put
up on the site in the next few days. The government of
Nepal has given her a pension. We are told in US
dollars in it around $150 month. Every
bit helps, but can you live on $150 a month with 4
children? Babu helped many clients get up the mountain
(carried a couple!), saved a few lives, and became a
mountain legend. Let's not let his dream of having his
girls have a better life die. Please
consider this cause in your giving.
