10 April: The Adventure Consultants Puja ceremony
was conducted today on a clear and sunny morning. A
Buddhist monk from a neighboring expedition
conducted the ceremony with Sherpas and team members
alike partaking with gusto! Then all members went
into the icefall to learn how to cross ladders which
span the crevasses and techniques appropriate to
using fixed ropes. Heavy snow in the evening led to
a beautiful, starry and cold night.
