Update
5/25/2001: The first
members of the expedition summited on 05/22 (Bernard Muller, Guy Chardini and
Anna Collet with 4 sherpas). Jean Marc Porte and Yves Anciaux summited Everest
on the 05/23 at 10 PM with 3 sherpas. Jean Marc was a the top when Marco
Siffredi snowboarded down to ABC in 2 hours and a half. They
spent 30 minutes on the summit (-40°C). Jean Marc Porte had the time to take
some photos of Marco Siffredi. They were very tired so they slept at 8200
meters.
Yesterday they were finally at the ABC. The rest of the group didn't managed to
get on the Summit as of them turned around at 8700 meters. Thomas Bianchin
