Dispatch One: Czech
Himalaya 8000 Shishapangma expedition leave tomorrow
Sept. 8th at 6 a.m. morning from Kathmandu to Tibetan
Nepalese border Kodari and then to first Tibetan
village called Zhangmu....

Dispatch Two:
Yesterday on September 11th we have reached a "lower"
or "Chinese" Base Camp at about 5.000 meters. We will
stay here three night and at September 14th morning we
will move to the Base Camp at 5.500 meters....

Dispatch Three: We
have moved from Chinese Base Camp at 5000 m to Base
Camp of Shishapangma....

Dispatch Four: On
September 21st Lhakpa Dorjee and Josef Simunek
vent from Camp 1 (6.400m) to Camp 2 at 7000m to
set up two tents. At the same day they came down
direct to Base Camp.... Click here for the full dispatch
Dispatch Five:
Weather and snowing are the most repeated words in
Shishapangma Base Camp. Just yesterday Sept. 27 went
back from Camp 1 four members of Czech team. They
spent there two snowstorm nights. Right now is on
Shishapangma about 1,5 meter fresh snow. We have to
wait here in the Base Camp about four or five days....

Dispatch Six:
Tomorrow on October 2nd first group: Novak, Kratochvil,
Sedlacek, Simunek a Lhakpa Dorjee Sherpa will go to
the camp 1 and than step by step to Camp 3 at about
7.500m. We expect to try the top at October 5th. Next
group: Adamec, Cuda a Hnojna will follow the first and
we expect try the top at October 6th....

Summit SUMMIT Shishapangma
Dispatch Eight: On
October 7th all of the member came back to the Base
Camp so we are right now all of here and on October
10th we will go back to the Chinese Base Camp and than
on Oct. 12th back to Kathmandu.....
