Sunset on Shishapangma from Base Camp |
 |
Weather and snowing are the most repeated words in
Shishapangma Base Camp. Just yesterday Sept. 27
went back from Camp 1 four members of Czech team.
They spent there two snowstorm nights. Right now
is on Shishapangma about 1,5 meter fresh snow. We
have to wait here in the Base Camp about four or
five days. Weather is better now so all of us hope
for good progress and a possibility to try climb
the top. |
Last news from
British expedition is that expedition is finished and
team is going back to Kathmandu. Some expedition
starting set up their high camps like Sergio Martini
and Fausto de Stefani from Italian team. On behalf of
Himalaya 8000 Josef Simunek
