Sunset on Shishapangma from Base Camp |
 |
On
September 21st Lhakpa Dorjee and Josef Simunek
vent from Camp 1 (6.400m) to Camp 2 at 7000m to
set up two tents. At the same day they came down
direct to Base Camp. |
All of the team
members has to now make aclimatization climb to Camp 2
and back to BC. After this we plan to try to set
up Camp 3 at 7.500 m and try climb to top. Weather is
changed a little bit and we have got a fresh snow
today, but we hope that will be better within a few
days. The team spirit is good and we have made in our
dining tent a small Video Center watching a DVD film
on our HP notebook with thanks to Martin Kratochvil (Bonton
Entertainment). Just a few minutes ago visited our
dining tent a two famous
Italian climbers
Cesare Maestri and Sergio Martini, so we have
spent a good time with them. On behalf of Himalaya
8000 Josef Simunek
