| Ingrid
Baeyens reached the Summit of Everest on May
12th, 1992. |
| Summitted
as a member of the New Zealand Adventure
Consultants Everest Expedition with leader Rob
Hall. She was the first Belgian woman to be on
top of Everest. She is one of the few living
climbers to have reached the top of FOUR
EIGHTTHOUSANDERS :
- GASHERBRUM II on
8/8/1988
- DHAULAGIRI I
on 5/11/1990
- ANNAPURNA I
on 10/23/1991 (South Face with Krzysztof
Wielicki)
- EVEREST
on 5/12/1992

In May
Ingrid Baeyens will climb the OLD MEN OF HOY. Ingrid
was also a member of the Belgian Winter Everest
Expedition 1988/89 and is still a member of the Belgian Himalayan Club.
Ingrid Baeyens was born in Antwerp on 1/8/1956.
She is working as a Physical Kine in a Hospital in
Aarschot (Belgium) She is also a certified diving
instructor and is still an active
as climber in the mountains. Ingrid was born
1/8/56.
