Update
5/17/2002: EverestNews.com have received reports
that Mr. Adam Cinnamond of Northern Ireland is
missing on Cho Oyu. We have been told, that the
family has been notified. No
official word has come from Nepal on this
climber's status. The trekking company supporting
the expedition was not aware there was a problem,
and said that they had not been notified of a problem. Update
5/20/2002: Mr. Adam Cinnamond death has been
confirmed by the China Tibet Mountaineering
Association today. "The fax says that the
body was discovered at the altitude 6800 m in a
ice crack." Mr. Adam Cinnamond was missing on
the mountain on May 9th.
