Objective:
The student will be able to recall unique
characteristics of Nepalese painting, sculpture, and
music. The student will create an example from one
area of Nepalese arts and share this with the class.
Guided
Practice:
1. Discuss different disciplines of art (painting,
sculpture, music, etc.). Discuss with the class how we
could characterize the United States in terms of art.
2. Read through the different disciplines of art and
discuss the unique characteristics of Nepalese art.
Independent
Practice:
1. Read and discuss the unique characteristics of
Nepalese art.
2. Select a discipline of art in which you are
interested and research information regarding that
discipline on the Internet.
3. Create an example of the art discipline you
selected and share it with the class.
