3 members and 1 High Altitude Sherpa of Nepal France Dorje Lhakpa 2001 Expedition has successfully climbed the 6966 m Dorje Lhakpa from West Ridge on 21^st Oct, 2001 at 13.05 hrs

1.      Mr. Grenier Phillippe (1953) Mountain Guide, 74 – 400 Chamonix, France

2.      Mr. De Sommer Maro (1963), Managing Director, 149 Rue D’ Angoussart, France

3.      Mr. Tenzi Sherpa (35), Member, Namche VDC – 7, Solukhumbu, Nepal

4.      Mr. Pema Tshering Sherpa (18), HAS, Gaurishankar VDC – 1, Dolakha Nepal

The eight members Expedition team, consisting of 5 Foreigners and 3 Nepali, was permitted to climb 6966 meters high Mt. Dorje Lhakpa from West Ridge under the leadership of Mr. Grenier Phillippe (1953) Mountain Guide, from Chamonix, France, during the Autumn Season of 2001
