Several sources has
reported to EverestNews.com that 29 year old Alexandra
Claude (a woman) from Quebec, Canada has died
descending from
Everest Base camp apparently from pulmonary edema
during her sleep.
Her death should point
out the danger even trekking to Everest base camp can
be.
What makes us bring you
this story, is that we have received several questions
from our readers asking if she was attempting the
Summit of Everest. The questions, from our readers,
are due to some news reports of her death. Our sources
in Nepal report that there are NO winter Everest
expeditions this year. Therefore, we are assuming
these reporters were just confused...
