expedition will go "low budget" and will
not use Sherpa support or bottled oxygen. Participants:
Hans van der Meulen: summited Gasherbrum II on 25th
June 1988, K2
in 1995, and the Central summit of Shishapangma
and Cho Oyu in 1998. He attempted Everest Southside
in 1992 and Everest North side in 2000.
Wilco
van Rooijen: summitted the Central Summit of
Shishapangma in 1998. Note: Wilco wants to fly from
the summit with on a paraglider!
Wilco
and
Hans van der Meulen reached the geographical North Pole in 70 days
in 1997, with another 2 members as the first Dutch
team. Wilco reached South Pole as well in 2000, as a
