Hans joins Wilco Tuesday May 7: Sore throat and malfunctioning communication

It has been a while since the last dispatch from Hans and Wilco. Last week Wilco has returned to ABC from BC. He left Hans in BC to recover from a sore throat. Initially Hans wanted to use the extra time also to reconfigure the malfunctioning laptop computer. But Hans decided to leave it as it was and to join Wilco.

They want to check together if the storms high on Everest have damaged their camps and depots. They will climb via North Col to Camp 2 at 7400 m., if the weather cooperates. We will receive information from Everest via the sat-phone only. Wilco and Hans have contacted two other Dutch adventurers Marcel Knotter and Peter de Bruijn who hope to arrive at the magnetic North-pole after their 680 kilometer ski expedition, also sponsored by Eneco Energy.
