APRIL
2 2002: Just a very short update - Gavin
phoned via his portable sat phone today from
the roof of his hotel in Nyalan, He said it
was snowing and very cold!
The
team got through the Nepal/Tibet boarder with
no problems and will be going on to Tingri
tomorrow, where they will stay for two days.
Its
then onto base camp, where the trekkers will
stay for six days - Gavin says everyone is
keeping well and are looking forward to the
next part of the expedition.
It
is unlikely there will be much news over the
next few days - although we may get a few pics!
