the expedition starts towards the Chinese border ...
NEVER
ENDING STORY: The problems with the gas cartridges
continue. According to the Cargo-Office of Kathmandu
airport the gas hasn't arrived yet. Because of this
the expedition-team phoned their forwarding agency
in Switzerland on Friday. Thai-Switzerland said that
the gas is already in Kathmandu since Friday, 1:15
pm (local time). Today - Saturday - all offices are
closed. Tomorrow they' re going to search the gas at
the airport. In case they don't find it, they have
to buy new gas cartridges in Kathmandu.
READY
TO START: Yesterday they received the Visas for
People' s Republic of China. Tomorrow afternoon the
expedition starts towards the Chinese border. They
expect to spend the night in Kodari (Nepal-Side),
pass the border on April 8 and drive to Nyalam.
TEAM-SPIRIT:
Today the expedition-team had a massage. They' re
going to spend their last evening in Kathmandu.
