Three Americans will be attempting to climb Mt. Everest from the north side (the route taken by Mallory and Irvine in 1924) during the early 2002 climbing season (3 April - 10 June 2002). After summiting, Adrian Nature will attempt to be the first to complete a ski descent of the North Face.

They are taking a satellite phone, digital imaging equipment and a laptop computer that will allow them to update us on the status of their climb to this web site, and post pictures while the expedition is in progress...
