Dispatch One: After 23 years of dreaming, 2 and a half years of preparing, 3200 sent and received E-mails, board meetings, interviews, sponsorship hunting and countless sleepless nights....  As an Everest veteran once told me, "if you can make it through the 2 years leading up to the departure, than the logistics of the climb will be a breeze".  Well, we have made it through the past 2 years so let the expedition begin.  There is no question this expedition would not have happened with out the support of many friends and my family. To all of you who wrote letters, made phone calls, sewed patches, ran the charity events, ran in the charity events, offered advise and put up with my stress...Thank-you for all your help.  The next update will be from Nepal!  Glenn
