| IMG Everest - Tibet Update 17: IMG Sherpas Danuru and Phu Nuru reached the summit at 9:40 am [Eric uses Nepal time even in Tibet] May 20 and are now on the way down, after fixing rope on the summit ridge. This was Danuru's fourth Everest summit. This was Phu Nuru's first Everest summit. He had been to the Mushroom Rock on May 24, 2001, where he gave up his oxygen to the bivouacked Russians, and also to the South Summit with the Ford Women in 2002. Eric Simonson - IMG
