Dispatch Two: The team has arrived in Katmandu and are
working with Asian Tours to get all the permits,
visas, and gear in order. Everyone is healthy and
ready to hit the road. We will take our time on the
road stopping at various towns to acclimate and do
some training hikes. Our schedule will be dependent
on when we can get out of Katmandu, and then on the
acclimation of the team. For now, it is just getting
over the jet lag, and hardening our skin for
sophomoric hammering that everyone faces from a group
of guys that knows every weakness, soft spot, and
source of ribbing of everyone else. As with all other
trips, the laughing has not been hard to find. Not
much else to report. Will keep you in the loop.
Cheers, Mike Marolt
