Mount Everest South Side Expedition
British 50th Anniversary Expedition 2003

Robert Anderson (left) and David Hamilton will lead a British  commercial expedition on the South side of Everest. Robert career highlights include pioneering a new route on the 12000ft Kangshung Face of Everest in 1988 where Stephen Venables from his expedition reached the Summit of Everest. His quest to climb all 7 Summits solo is documented in his book of the same name.

David Hamilton born 05/03/61 in Glasgow, UK leads expeditions to the Karakoram every year since 1986.

A full time guide since 1988, David has guided more than 50 groups in the Alps, Caucasus, Africa, South America, Karakoram, China, Nepal. He has a specialist knowledge of the Karakoram, having led numerous expeditions there, including many of the major peaks. Gasherbrum II (1998, 1999), Everest (1999), Broad Peak (2000), Spantik (2000). Other interests: David is a keen ski tourer and has enjoyed leading ski mountaineering expeditions in the past.
