In order
to keep away SARS, a group ,which consisted of nine
policemen in Dingri City, Tibet, have been send to the
surpreme of Everest at 1 o'clock in this afternoon. It
is said by the leader of the group that one of the
alpine travelers to Nepal had died of SARS. As soon as
they heard this, they immediately take actions by
sending a team there to sterilize the encampment of
mountaineers. [Note this dispatch is unedited, we are

expedition]

Climbing to the staging base:
At 11a.m this morning, China Sohu Mountaineering team has set out for their
third marching as planned. A support unit, a report team of 25 members from
CCTV (China Central Television) and a yak transportation team have set off
again from base camp, pushing forward to the staging base.

The campsites at elevations
of 5500 and 5800 meters have been destroyed by gale, so China Sohu
Mountaineering Party is going to reach the 6000-meter campsite without a
break. At present, the wind-force at base camp has subsided. However,
according to the report from rear personnel, the wind-force at the staging
base is still strong.

On May 8th, Chinese official
website for Yao Ming which is solely undertaken by SOHU has kept a ceremonial
of its run.
As an assistant captain of
SOHU Mountaineering Party, one member of SOHU color messages group, board
chairman and CEO of SOHU, Zhang Chaoyang kindly called YaoMing at base camp of
Everest. Zhang said Hello to Yao and Yao tastily answered: "Now you are much
higher than I am ........ "
