
Dispatch Three: Chinese SOHU Expedition arrives in
Everest Base Camp, and builds Base Camp Three
All climbers of Chinese SOHU
Expedition arrived in Everest Base Camp in April 6th, and are now resting at
the base camp. Everyone in healthy, they have spend the last couple of days at
Base Camp approx 5818 meter doing some acclimatization training lead by Mr.
Wang Yongfeng. They spent 3 hours hiking up to Base Camp One (6450meter)
yesterday, and returned safely at dusk.

According to what Mr. Zhang
Zhijian, Official of Beijing Mountaineering Association told us, Mr. Luoshen,
Vice-director of Chinese Mountaineering Association and Advanced
mountaineering coach lead more than 10 persons to reach Base Camp Three (6500
meter) yesterday. They would do some preparative work for Chinese SOHU
Expedition, such as constructing road, Base Camp and carrying supplemental
oxygen. They spent that night in Base Camp Three. Everything is OK now.
