China SOHU mountaineering team up toward 7790 meters on Apr 22: reported by SOHU multimedia message: On April 22, China SOHU mountaineering team set out to climb the mountain with the condition that the road was not built. Two Sherpa which are good at climbing left from the top of north side where the height is 7028 meters to 7790 meters, they looked out for the location of the No.3, No.4 and No.5 camp. At present, almost all the members in more than 20 climbing teams gathered at the Everest north side arrived at the advance camp. Because of too many people came to the Everest north side this time, the mountaineering teams from different countries had small place to build their camps. So we can see all kinds of camps here and there from 6400 meters to 6500 meters high, it was very beautiful and grand.

It was discussed by the captains of all the mountaineering teams at the Everest north side on Apr 20 for the second time that there will be 20 Sherpa from different teams to build the road. They will span the protection rope from 7028 meters to 7790 meters. It was estimated that the road from No.4 camp to No.5 camp will be built in one day.

China SOHU mountaineering team started for the second time-- aim to 8300 meters high: reported by SOHU multimedia message: On 11 am April 23, all the members of China SOHU mountaineering team set out from the base camp again to climb the Everest for the second time. On April 19, according to the forecast of strong wind in three days from Switzerland Weather Bureau, all the members of SOHU climbing team descended to the base camp to rest after the adapted march at north side. After a rest of three days, the state of everybody was very good, the aim of their second march is to adapt at 8300 meters high preparing for ascending the peak.

However, with the height was higher the climbing was more difficult. We will know the result that who can endure the test at 8300 meters during the second march. Now, everyone's desire of ascending the peak was very strong. LiangQun who was the only one woman member in the team said that, "since I came here , I must ascend the Everest."

Climbers from all over the world built the road together: Seven members of SOHU Mountain Climbing team left base camp at noon Apr 23, they went to the transition camp at 5800 meters. It was estimated that they would arrive at the advance camp at 6500 meters on Apr 24. It was the second time for the climbers to march for adaption. This time, they plan to climb to the camp at 8300 meters, and return to the base camp in the beginning of May. From Apr 11 to 19, the seven members had been to the 7028 meters.
