Peter is a very succesful climber in the Alps,
Karakorum and Himalaja. Some of the 8000 meters he
climbed in the last few years, Cho-Oyu 8201 meters,
Shisapangma 8021 meters, Broad Peak 8047 meters,
Gasherbrum II 8035 meters, Hidden Peak I 8068 meters,
and Nanga Parbat 8125 meters.

Update 7:
I have not called a long time
again.... I undertook several acclimations, all toward yellow the band, in the
proximity of of the South Col. I ended up about approx. 7.500 m to 7.850 m. On
5/13 I undertook the roof ridge attempt at Lhotse, from camp III, which is at
7,200 m. I started at 1 o'clock in the morning and when to to approx. 7.600 m.
The I immediatly when down to base camp after started the recovery phase. I am
suffering, the cough, which always begins on approx. 6,500 and/or starting
from 7,000 m. I hope the cough get better... I have now went down to
Namche Bazar to see if I can get better.... Many greeting to you all. Peter
