Returning to Base Camp May 27, 2003 We have received word from Gyltzen Sherpa, our Base Camp Sirdar, that all of the team members are fine and were together at Camp 2; they will be back in Base Camp tomorrow (Wednesday, May 28). Those of us here at home hope to start receiving phone calls or e-mail messages from our loved ones and friends tomorrow. There are so many questions - are you okay, was it really terrible, when are you coming home??? But the calls will have to be short, the connections not too clear - no way to really find out all that we are yearning to hear of their well being and great adventure. That will have to wait a little while longer - for now we only know that "they are fine", and are grateful for that much! -Sue Hoffman
