summit team (Yuichiro, Gota, Muraguchi) and three
Sherpas; Nga Temba Sherpa (40, Climbing Sirdar),
Chhewang Nima Sherpa(37), Fur Gyalzen Sherpa (28), are
now in final summit attack camp (C5, 8400m). The
summit team and eight Sherpas left C4 this morning at
8:00 am, at that point wind was blowing about
15m/sec. They arrived at C5 point at 1:15
pm and set the tent approximately 150m below Balcony,
wind was decreasing down to 10m/sec, getting closer to
the ideal condition. Five Sherpa has descended down to
South Col (C4), and if condition allows, they will
join and support the Summit team tomorrow.
The
plan is to depart C5 around 4:00 am to aim the summit
around 10:00 am! All are in good condition We will
further discuss with other team for creating route
above C5.
Following photo was taken
yesterday (May/19th) around 4:00 pm at South Col (7900M),
