| Update 12 May 22nd 2003: Dear EverestNews.com, MIURA's summit attempt begun! Report received from Base Camp early this morning. The team left C5 around 3:30 am (Local Nepal) and as of 6:00 am, they are at South Summit (8750m). It is clear day and not too much wind. In front of them, they can see quite numbers of climbers, like ants, going up the Ridge towards summit.
