Russian Adventure Team is ready to start the trip: The last one for the
road as Russians say.
The Russian Adventure Team is leaving Moscow for Katmandu April, 1, as it
was planned originally. But before the departure the team is organizing a
farewell party. Relatives and friends of the team members as well as those
wishing to say "good-bye and good luck" to the team, will gather March, 28, at
"Adventure Team" party. The leader of the expedition, will give a short
outline of the team's past climbs - Elbrus and Kilimanjaro - illustrated by
video and photos from the trips. Then the description of the coming event will
follow - Everest from the North. The team takes a flight to Katmandu via Delhi
with a quick tour round India's capital; arrives in Katmandu April 2; leaves
Katmandu April 5, for Everest BC via Nialam; arrives at BC April, 9.
By June 1, the team plans to return home - God permits - with a summit.
The next trip of Russian Adventure Team will be to the most exotic summit
out of all 7 - Carstensz Pyramid - in summer-autumn 2003.
Best regards, Korobeshko Ludmila.
