Dispatch One Broad Peak: On July 4th we were still in Scardu! Our patience starts to deteriorate, the expedition took a considerable delay. It is necessary to find and to await the liaison officer which is I do not know where, the trekkers who will join us to the base camp of Broad Peak, the logistics of the agency not very effective... well, we lost 10 days and this delay makes me sick.

Finally we leave Scardu 5h in the morning on July 5th. We will arrive on July 12th  at the base camp of Broad Peak. In the absence of the organization I hope that the weather conditions will be with us to allow a fast ascent of Broad Peak to Jean-Christophe. Best regards, Katia Lafaille
