April 24th 2003: Hi! Finally Jean Christophe arrived yesterday, Wednesday April 23rd, night at Daulagiri's Base Camp, situated at 4800m. Trekking went all right and the last porters arrived today at the end of the afternoon at base camp. The installation at base camp is now finished and he can starts with the acclimatization on the mountain. He will not waste time, as tomorrow Friday he goes to camp 1 at 5800m, and will be back to base camp for sleeping. Snow conditions are all right. As per the weather, is good and windy in altitude.
