Everest 2001: Erik Weihenmayer

The First Blind Man together with nine other members & eight Sherpas climbers of 2001 NFB Everest Expedition has been successfully climbed the summit of 8,848 m. high, world's highest peak Mt. Everest on 25th May at 9:30 to 10 a.m. and stayed on the summit for 10 minutes.

17) Mr. Lhakpa Tshering Sherpa (36 Yrs) Namche-6, Thame, Solukhumbu.
18) Mr. Chhuldim Nuru Sherpa (34 Yrs) Namche-4, Furte, Solukhumbu.

It has been reported that the submitters started to descend from summit from 10:45 a.m.
This 12-members expedition team was permitted to climb Mt. Sagarmatha from South East Ridge route under the Leadership of Mr. Pasquale Scaturro, Geologist, from Lakewood Colorado, USA during the Spring Season of 2001. 

The Oldest man on the top of the World

1) Mr. Sherman Bull, 64 Yrs Doctor, Adams Lane, New Canaan, CT, USA.

This was a big rendezvous at the highest summit of the world of father Sherman Bull with son Bradford Bull, 33 Yrs, belonging to NFB Everest Expedition reaching the summit respectively.
