  • Andalucia Everest 2000: Featured Expedition

Leader: MANUEL GONZALEZ DIAZ

This experienced group of seven climbers includes two women   Manuel Gonzαlez, Manuel Salazar, Shelter Ortega, Immaculate Fernandez, Santiago Millαn, Fernando Fernandez-Villancos and Jose Antonio Perez. They have trained the last year for Everest.

The second group of the Andalusia expedition Everest 2000 leaves for Katmandu!  

Sport Andalusian and the F.A.M. have organized a send-off on  Wednesday 15 of March 12:00 hours at the Airport of Malaga. The second group of the Andalusians to   Everest leave tomorrow, Wednesday, the 15th at 12:00 also from the airport of Malaga. Shelter Ortega is the team physician.  Inmaculada Fernandez Morales is the person in charge of telecommunications.  Santiago Millαn Talero is the audio-visual person in charge. Jose Antonio Perez Jorge is the person in charge of trekking. Ivαn Jara Muriel will be united with the head of the expedition, Manuel Gonzαlez. Manuel Salazar is the person in charge of materials. Fernando the Fernandez - Vivancos, who is already in Namche Bazaar, a town near basecamp. In order to send the expeditionary Andalusians off the promoters of the project, the Federation Andalusian of Montanismo and the Pϊblica Company Sport Andalusian have organized a send-off for fans of all the clubs of Andalusia. They also expect mass media in  attendance.
