EverestNews.com!
As I
have managed to solve the energy-problem it is now my
notebook that makes problems. The hard disk broke and
so I asked my friend Russell Brice for writing an
e-mail to you to fulfill my promise. Here is a brief
report - I will write a longer report when we made our
first attempt.
After walking beside the unforgettable ice towers,
that look like giant sharktooths we reached ABC two
days ago on Sunday. After one day of rest we are
all full of energy and power. I think our concept to acclimatize
in the Nyanchen Thanglha Mountains, after that take 5
rest days and then come to Chomolungma is working. Now
we are waiting for a good weather forecast so we can
try a summit-attempt. Our seven sherpas reached camp
III yesterday to depose 15 bottles of oxygen there.
Our last two days we spend with playing guitar, cards
and reading. The group is in full health and burning
for an attempt. Best regards from ABC
