As we were planning the next update on Graham's Quest, we received word that the David Hempleman-Adams expedition has been cancelled. The Chinese have denied permission to fly the balloon !

This was going to be Graham 6th expedition to Everest. The flight was expected to last 20 minutes and land in Nepal. Graham told us earlier that "David will be flying more than half the flight solo. Cameras will be mounted to the basket." David is an experienced balloonist and was the first person to fly solo across the Arctic Ocean and has set the UK record for solo ballooning.
