Colombian Himalayan Everest 2001 Expedition

The trajectory has been:
Everest, Fall '97, North Side, (No summits that season
from any route) Manaslu, Fall '98, (Bad weather,
avalanched forced retreat); Cho Oyu, Spring '99,
Standard, 8201 meters (6 Summits); Everest, Spring '01,
North Side, We will see what happens!

this point we know that least 7 climbers are going at this
time. We are finalizing negotiations to get the rest
of the team on. Unfortunately, I will not be able to go this time
, due to work circumstances. I am setting
up expedition learning programs for Latin Americans
check it out (www.opepa.org)
Our main sponsor is Agua Manantial (Panamco-Coca
Cola). Our planed departure for Kathmandu is March 20.
