Autumn Everest 2001: Hungarian Everest - Lhotse Expedition (2001)

At the margin between darkness and twilight, around five o'clock in the morning, I'm sipping my tea alone, at the table of ABC, which is now tangible. I don't like the burning warmth of the Sun, so I start early and ancrobating on the fixed line, carry gear to the upper end of the line in two rounds. We'll go on in the Scotch Couloir from here. But not today. Konyi and Miki are hiking to a point of better fit on the glacier from where they can see better the stages still before us and discussing which way to go. They two, after carrying stuff to the repository, move to the 'spaltni' camp. Zoli and Doc are marching to the base camp, while I follow them in the evening so only our cook and David are staying in ABC. "... As untied sheaf..." But BC is loudly! DJ's working hard. We venerate András' nerves. Not only because he would like to listen Félix Lajkó, but because he takes it in angelically good part as well, that Zoli's playing that Fatboy Slim and we are making shindig loosely and infantilly in one-piece fluffsuits and sunglasses. (We sent home this episode with sound so you can "enjoy" it...) (Mező)
