Stunning sad News from G2: Felix
Inurrategi has died while descending the from the Summit. Felix, clearly one of the great climbers in the world, had
reached the Summits of Makalu in 1991, Everest in 1992, K2 in 1994, Cho Oyu in
1995, Lhotse in 1995, Kangchenjunga in 1996, Shisha Pangma in 1996, Broad Peak
in 1997, Dhaulagiri in 1998, Nanga Parbat in 1999, Manaslu this year on 4/25
which was the first 8000 Summit of the Year 2000. But on July 28th he reached
the Summit Gasherbrum II, sources report to EverestNews.com that he fell while
descending...
Climbing
these peaks is very dangerous ... We have lost another great one. Alberto, his
younger brother also reached the Summit, but made it down safely.
