"Captain
Iqbal died at K2"
The extra ordinary
meeting of Core members of Ecotourism Society Pakistan
(ESP) on Thursday paid rich tribute to late Captain
Iqbal Khan who lost his life while climbing K-2 on
Tuesday. He was part of Pak-China K-2 expedition. Late
Captain Iqbal was Old Ravian who passed his Bachelor
degree from Government College Lahore.

Pakistan Army. He also tried to scale Mount Everest
during 1997. Core members of ESP visited his family

pride for nation and he was decorated with many medals
for his services for Pakistan Army and for
mountaineering.
