Ciao, also today it is a fair day: clouds
and sun but no snow. The helicopter hasn't arrived yet to Concordia and
the poor Pakistani porter still waits the cremation ceremony.
In the BC there is god
news: tomorrow we start. We have decide to use a short truce in the bad
weather, forecast for the next two days and try Broad Peak. For me it
will be a tough job, since I have been here only for 5 days and I only
climbed to 5900 meters once, but I feel my engine is OK. So tomorrow
morning at 4 am ten persons will start the climb. Some will stay in
camp 2 and others will head for the top the next night. I will be one of
of these and I hope the star that shined on Cho Oyu and Everest in May,
will shine again...
I will take with the
Thuraya satellite phone, so I will keep you posted.
