Korea Kangchenjunga Spring 2002

Two members and one High Altitude Sherpa (Sirdar) of 2002 Korean Kanchenjunga Expedition team have succeeded to climb the summit of Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586 m) on 13th & 14th May 2002. 

Name of Summiters (13th May 2002  3:25 pm) 

1.      Mr. Han Wang Yong (36 years) Employee from San Gu Ko Yang city, Korea.
2.      Mr. Woong Sik Kim, (36 years) Employee from Chung Ju City, Korea.
3.      Mr. Dawa Wangchuk Sherpa (28 years) Makalu VDC – 9, Sankhuwasava, Nepal  

The 11 members of 2002 Korean Kanchenjunga Expedition Spring Team was permitted to climb 8586 meter high Mt. Kanchenjunga from South West Face during the Spring Season of 2002, under the leadership of Mr. Han Wang Yong, Employee, Korea.
