Lhotse

Gary Pfisterer,
Leader of the Successful
American International K2
2000 Expedition, will lead an attempt on Lhotse in
Spring 2001.
Team members are
expected to be arriving KTM [Kathmandu] on March 30th with a
planned departure to Lukla
on April 2nd. The airport at Lukla is closed for
improvements so the team
will go in by chartered airplane. They are
planning to arrive in base camp
on or before 10 April. Certain team members if
successful will become both
the youngest (Thomas Moores) and oldest (Donald
Morten)
people to summit
Lhotse. Gary will try to send an update before
departing KTM. |

Update:
Gary and some team members has arrived in Kathmandu. Things
are going well- team members assembling this weekend
in KTM for early departure on April 2.
