Lhotse Dispatch Two
April 7, 2001
Half of team arrived Base Camp at 1 P.M. and began
setting up camp. 15 other teams are established with
more on the way. Internet was down in Namche
Bazaar. Everyone is healthy and keen to get
climbing. Weather is very good. The icefall is fixed
and looks in good condition. Can't see upper
face yet. Hope to get C-1 in 2 to 3 days.
